The Dallas Stars are one step closer to the next round of the Stanley Cup playoffs after defeating the Seattle Kraken 4-2 on Tuesday night.

The Stars now lead the series 3-1 and can clinch a berth in the second round with a win in Game 5 on Thursday night in Dallas.

However, the victory came at a cost, as Tyler Seguin left the game in the third period after taking a hit to the face from Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Shea Theodore.

Seguin did not return to the game, and his status for Game 5 is uncertain.
