UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying Draw
The UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying draw took place on Sunday 9 October 2022 at the headquarters of the European football governing body UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland.
Teams
A total of 53 teams will compete in the qualifying competition, with the 10 group winners and 10 group runners-up qualifying directly for the final tournament. The remaining three teams will be determined through a play-off system.
Qualifying Format
The 53 teams will be divided into 10 groups, with seven groups of five teams and three groups of six teams. Each team will play every other team in their group home and away, with the top two teams in each group qualifying directly for the final tournament. The third-placed teams in each group will advance to the play-offs.
Play-offs
The play-offs will take place in March 2024, with the three group winners and the three best-ranked group runners-up advancing to the final tournament.
