Early Life and Career

Blas Perez was born on March 13, 1981, in Panama City, Panama. He began his professional soccer career in 2001 with Alianza FC in his home country.

Perez quickly made a name for himself as a prolific goalscorer, earning a move to Colombian club Deportivo Cali in 2003.

International Success

Perez made his international debut for Panama in 2001 and went on to become one of the most decorated Panamanian players in history.

He represented his country at four CONCACAF Gold Cups and two FIFA World Cup qualifying campaigns.

In 2013, Perez captained Panama to their first-ever CONCACAF Gold Cup title, scoring the winning goal in the final against the United States.

Club Career Highlights

After his stint with Deportivo Cali, Perez played for several clubs in Mexico, including Club America, Queretaro, and Pachuca.

He also had a successful spell in the United Arab Emirates with Al Ahli, where he won the UAE Pro-League title in 2014.

In 2015, Perez returned to Panama and played for Chorrillo FC before retiring in 2018.
