Seán Keeling leaves lasting impression on Harrington
Local builder, Seán Keeling, was presented with a framed photograph of the Harrington School House at the March monthly meeting of Harrington Residents Association.
Seán handed the keys of the community building to the HRA on March 31, 2023.
The presentation was made by Chair of HRA, Anne Clark, as thanks from the community for Seán’s skill, generosity and hard work over many years.
His projects for the HRA included the building of the new School House and the restoration of the gates and railings at the entrance to the churchyard.
HRA said the projects had made a “profound and lasting difference” to the village.
Seán said he was “overwhelmed” to receive the gift.
“The community of Harrington have been brilliant and it is lovely to get this recognition,” he said.
Seán has moved to Lincolnshire to be near family but he said he will be back to visit regularly.
